Gather round, friends and foe, and understand who the Noumenon Family revere and channel as our power and influence. Each resident draws on one or two of these as their core spiritual leader, and as a group, we worship and strengthen all of them. Note that all of these Elder Gods and Goddesses (heh few of them have an actual Gender) predate all actual Societal gods/goddesses - they are primal influences of our new "Humanity" (as it were). These REAL Elders are the core powers driving Fae magicks. *
Delirium - the Goddess of Madness. Cala has claimed this as her core energy, which is unpredictable, but blossoms frequently with both kindness and confusion. Delirium's colour is Purple, fading to Pink, often with light rainbow trails. And fishies. And pie.
Dream - the Sandman himself. The ruler of all dreamtime, a very close brother to Delirium, the visions he provides linger through your nighttime and into your daydreams, and have powered the strongest of all leaders, as well as the nuttiest of all fruitcakes. The difference between the two recipients is a razor-thin line at the peak of Dreamtime. Dream's colour is Dark Blue.
Despair - the short, cold, pale Goddess of immersive, unstoppable pain and the loss of all hope. Despair's worshipers embody this persona and draw on it to sap the power and hope from all who encounter her awesome power. Despair's colour is Pure White.
Desire - Hir hermaphroditic scent lingers around you, making your head spin. The slightest touch from Desire's ghostly fingers drives the strongest of us to acts of desperation. Desire's colour is a light rosy-pink, glistening and wet.
Destruction - rarely seen in raw form, he revels in the massive change and the toppling of powerful figures. Dapper and ruddy and cheerful as he delivers blow after blow to the foundations of our society's Sand Castles, his laughter is heard mainly in the spreading dust of your tall towers of pride when they collapse. His colour is a Dark, Ruddy Red.
Destiny - An almost-forgotten Elder, his ghostly figure sees all that happened, and all that will happen. His worshipers tend to fade in and out of time, finding it hard to know where and when they are, but have a deep wisdom and awareness of power over time, and are often quite accurate with their predictions, and have deep understanding of from whence ye came- usually much more than you do. Ghostly, but very powerful, Destiny's colour is a misty-Grey, that fades in and out of the deep Green of Growth, then back to the smoke of the Unknown.
Death - The Goddess of Real Change, her gothick touch flickers through space and time, missing none of us - regardless of race. Lycans, Fae, even Undead and Angels and yes even Demons you all will die. Her movements are lightning-fast, and irrevocable. Death is everywhere and defines the very boundaries of our lives. In Noumenon, your death feeds the very forest, the Family are hungry, and the trees are happy to drink your blood as much as any other Water of Life. Death's colour is Real Black, and when her raven wing covers your eyes and you feel the whistling deep in your bones, just relax and go with the change, there's nothing you can do.
These are the core powers of Noumenon. Play with them, and with us, at your risk.
* All serious due respect and kudos to http://www.neilgaiman.com/journal/ Neil Gaiman for this pantheon. We, truly, are not worthy.

Dynamism- The Volcano of the Fire Witch
Late at night the Queen sat cross-legged in her lab, puzzling over a spelled gift-box that had appeared mysteriously at her doorstep earlier.
It failed to respond to all of the Fae cants of opening that she had learned, except any that touched on powers of Fire caused a strange sigil to glow over top of it. Scratching her head, she peered through the scrolls and books in her library, trying to remember where she had seen such a symbol. Rattling through the lower shelves, a scroll fell down from a dusty hollow above and landed in her hands.
Glancing at the unfamiliar writing with distaste, recognizing it as Demon writings sent to her by a great-aunt who travelled to far lands, and she was surprised to see that sigil from the box near the top of the page.
Focusing on the insignia for a few seconds, a sound floated unbidden into her mind, and before she could react, she had spoken the Demon command, previously unheard. She spat out a taste of wicked bile that rose in her throat from the unfamiliar tongue, then gazed at the gift box as it blossomed into a large - flaming - rose?
A dark red, beautiful feminine face appeared, floating above the flower, facing Cala. "Greetings, Queen" she chuckled with a deep, throaty rasp. A small wisp of smoke trickled upwards from her nostrils and from the edge of her mouth. "I am the Fire Witch, and I have an offer for you. I am going to give you- another Island."
Cala's nostrils flared at the smells of smoke and brimstone, and her tail twitched suspiciously as she gazed with slit eyes and a raised eyebrow at the visage of the Witch. "And why should I trust an offer so obviously... Demonic?"
The Witch laughed sharply, and a small burst of flame shot out of her nostrils as she snorted. "Because you need more land. Your little forest clan, and especially the Merfolk family, is bursting at the seams. And because you're not afraid of a little Adventure, are you? I am offering you... Dynamism." and a small model of a volcanic island appeared on the ground in front of the Rose, right next to a tiny full model of Primordealism.
Cala looked closely at the models, and could see tiny figures walking around in the Primordealism forest areas, tiny boats floating around on the water, and even a tiny purple fae queen talking to a tiny burning rose in the model of her lab. *blinking* at the depth of the spell, her gaze turned to the new island, to the south past the Bigtree.
Dynamism is dominated by a towering active volcano, with lava flows pouring down to the east and western sides, and a black spired castle up at the peak. A slender, dangerous looking pathway spirals up Sunwise from the northern base slowly to the peak, sometimes crossing chasms of lava flows on what look like very rickety bridges. The lava flows lead down to complex mazes of coral reefs underwater, and there are small coral islands and outcroppings of the mountain trailing into the water all around. Almost half of the rest of the space is underwater, and Cala could see small families of merfolk in two underwater cities to the north and south. A crab-shaped small island to the southwest seemed to have some primitive native huts hidden in the trees, but she couldn't make out who was hiding in those trees. The isthmus jutting to the northeast appeared to have a colony of elves with a small castle on the ridge.
Cala blinked again, and turned to the Witch. "Very pretty. I assume the castle at the peak is yours. And what would I owe you in return, for this 'Gift'?"
The face of the Witch lit up with a bright glow in her eyes, "A very simple two things. One- The peak of Dynamism is Mine, as you correctly guessed. Intruders into my space will regret it- painfully and slowly." Licking her lips, she continued. "Secondly, you will send me - via messenger - one of your charmed Lavender Blossoms every month. They make an excellent seasoning for *cough*Neko*cough* Stew. In return, I will send the messenger home with one of the blossoms of my Magickal Fire Rose bushes, which bloom at the peak with every eruption of the volcano. They are quite powerful with magick, and I gift you this one now with no strings attached, so that you can sample and decide."
Cala reaches out and brushes her fingertips through the glowing flames of the Fire Rose bloom, and feels a charge of heat run up her arm to her chest, and with a slight reddening to the glow in her eyes, immediately feels stronger and more charged. She turns to the Witch and curtseys. "I shall ponder this offer. It is indeed most... tempting. I must discuss with my Family. Let us rejoin in two days time and I will give you my decision."
The Fire Witch laughs again, snorting more flames "Very well... Queen." *the irony in her tone unmistakable* "You talk it out with your family. See you Tuesday night!" with a cackle and a poof of smoke, the face disappears, leaving behind the Rose bloom and the small models of the islands.
So... dear friends. What shall I decide?

Stay to the Path!
-- Posted on the Western Rim path of NoR entrances to Noumenon --
Welcome, visitors and wanderers of CoLA and NoR, to the Forest. It is a place of enchanting beauty, filled with twists and turns and hidden nooks and crannies all around.
Many of us live here- all around you in castles and towers, and above and below in the trees and burrows and caves. These are our homes, and if you intrude into them directly without welcome, you're prey. Most of our homes are well camoflaged, so do tread carefully, and for a safer visit *, please follow one simple rule. Stay to the path. It's marked with those nice colored circle markers and leads to lots of beautiful scenes. **
Don't be surprised by the rustling in the brush around you, that's just all of us watching you oftenhungrily curiously. We do like to meat meet many of you, but we are likely to always be wary of your strange City ways, and as we've quickly discovered, there certainly are many who come here with evil in their hearts, so if we're quick to our defenses, just relax and stay peaceful, and all will be fine. Raise your weapons in return, and you'll quickly discover the feel of our claws and fangs.
This jungle will constantly be growing and shifting, do not expect to see the same paths here day to day. Also- our groundskeepers do their best to keep the path fairly clear, but at times it can be tough to keep up with the overgrowth. ***
Enjoy your visit, and Good Luck!

Castle ruins and graveyard background story
The ruins of the first castle to be built in these lands, long ago before any others were built. This castle was home to many and was a great kingdom, but like all kingdoms it fell. With most of the residents dying off, only one remained. A lost angel who was more of a pet to those who owned and lived in the castle. He remained here long after the castle started to decay, he watched as his home land changed over a very many years. He built the graveyard to bury those he lived with and loved, to give them a place to rest. He placed a curse on the land in order to protect the ones he loved but has forgotten over the long years.
The curse placed on the graveyard effects all but the lost angel, to anyone entering a feeling of great pain and saddness is forced on them, their health beings decaying just like the former great castle. Its not meant to kill anyone quickly, but it make them leave and not return for fear of becoming just like those who are burried here.
---
This is basicly the RP story of the land.. and yeah thats it.. heh

Changes afoot!
Time passes, and the ground shifts at Noumenon. Storm winds blow and electricity crackles through the air. In a scary night, the whole island shifts and with a violent *CRASH* collides with a large dark cityscape island. Ripple effects run through the whole island, but the main focus of disaster crushes Dystopia in a massive implosion of bricks, platforms, and spraying lava.
Trees and landforms sim-wide are ripped up and thrown aside. The whole western edge of the island rises to 40 metres, gently sloping around the castle towards the centre.
Gone is the old beach. Gone are the shops. Gone is the demon space. The Bigtree shudders and leans sideways, then stills, leaves cascading through the air down to the ground.
The Forbidden mountains writhe around and spread west, forming new grottoes and tunnels and caves. From atop the chaotic mountains, Lady Harle howls and quickly rebuilds her store deep in the Forbidden Mountains space. From the top of her castle, Cala dances madly with glee at the chaos and raw energy in the storm and tosses a dozen new seeds of self-replicating spells into the wild winds, spreading across the island.
Sprouting up from the still-steaming ashes of Dystopia comes the Witches, the 3 Ladies Merik, Anwen, and Eloria stepping forward, curtseying to Cala with smiles, and quickly assemble a towering dark gothick castle on the shore, with beautiful gardens and thick lush trees surrounding. The three Ladies assemble at the edge of their land and raise a thick shield spell of Creation, chanting and channeling for hours to construct a lightly-glowing Shield around their lands, that all Creation of objects on that land can solely be performed by the coven and their accepted friends. The Witches castle is means to be a space of peaceful interaction. All residents and visitors should be aware of this- when visiting the Witches Castle, many of your weapons and other tools will not function unless you become a close confidante of the Witches. If attacked by someone outside of the space and you intend to engage, be ready to move quickly away to an area where you can defend yourself.
Just to the south of the castle, in the middle of the rise of land, a huge Clawtree sprouts out of the ground, facing the Bigtree across the canal. The Clawtree is striking in its organic, feral reaches as it wraps around and protects 3 round Neko Nests. Two sets of arms with long, ivory claws reach down below and above the nests, and the clawtree continues to rustle, and shift... and change.
As several glowing seeds land and start sprouting around the Clawtree, a collection of Caves and Warrens surround the hillside, some tucking up under the castle, and some deep into the hillside. Who knows what denizens will lurk thereabouts?
The Bigtree sways a few times, ominously, and starts to form a shape at the base, and the hidden caves underneath all shift and reposition. New residents start to appear up in the platforms, and an overall rustling appears to be happening around the Bigtree- especially to the South, where the Underwater caves rustle with activity, and a new Octopus Oracle begins to appear down in the land of the merfolk and Dryads.
The storm winds settle, for the moment, and all Residents breathe a sigh of relief, and start to explore the new Dark Forest, budding and chirrupping all around them.

Noumenon Roleplay opened!
.:| Noumenon Roleplay |:.
by Cala, Queen of the Primordealism sim and Noumemon village.
Noumenon is a roleplay being acted out in Second Life on the Primordealism sim and is comprised primarily of two groups. The first group is the Forest Folk, who live in a forest surrounding the "bigtree" which is an amazing 100metre tall build that must be seen to be believed. The Forest Folk are a group of Tolkein-esque races that live, obviously, in the Forest. Primarily Elves and Faeries, but Dwarves, Hobbits, Neko, even cooperative Drow or Nyads are welcome. These seemingly disparate races pull together to build a community, help each other, and to stave off the advances of... the Demons.
The Dystopia Demon clans are divided into two sections- down below and above. In the section below, the lava is leaking away as the demon energy wanes (too close to the trees) and the space has grown Chaotic and unmanageable. The Gino, and other races can be found in the lower level. In the upper levels of Dystopia are the ruling class - the Denka- can be found, as well as the Demon School and other works of fine demon art.
I, Queen Cala, am an impartial and benevolent, if occasionally quite Wicked ruler, who is happy to build my spells in my castle and let each group manage themselves and frankly I enjoy the conflict and tension between the two groups, it amuses me greatly.
There is a third, wildcard element in our resident of the Graveyard. A human who lost her mind trying to learn the dark magicks of both demon's and fae's, her body and mind changed by what she has learned but the experience has left her completely out of touch from the world around her. Expect the unexpected from Cellside Unknown.
How do I join?
Come to Primordealism in Second Life and get the information notecard from the Roleplay Info glowball which includes our rules and guidelines, battle and capture information, and the roleplay application and all information you need to apply and contribute. Note: We really are looking for players who will contribute time, creativity, and help build vibrant characters to make this an fun experience for all of us.
I hope to see you there!
